Within past years, SDN has been becoming emerging buzzword in Internetworking Technology, for those who haven’t heard SDN terminology, it offers optimization and flexibility in Networks, i mean, IP Networks.

In a nutshell, SDN might be defined is a “cloud” of Internetworks, because it offers elastic cloud architectures and dynamic resource allocation while decoupling between data plane access and control plane access unlike most Layer 3 Devices in Networking now.

Openflow is example of SDN implementation and it defining some of SDN standards, and it is open. While major vendor offer proprietary implementation for these architectures.
